Azuki Milk Kanten
milk jelly with sweetened Azuki beans
Sweetened Azuki beans served with health jelly using Kanten (Agar agar) and milk. Instead of gelatin, Kanten is used to make jellied dishes. It serves well with fruits, ice cream, whipped cream, etc.

4 tablespoons sweetened Azuki beans
2 tablespoons Kuromitsu (brown sugar syrup)
1 cup milk Kanten, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup plain Kanten, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Condiments
some fruits

Recipe

Procedure
Bring prepared milk Kanten and plain Kanten cubes in two small bowls.
Pour some Kuromitsu syrup over them.
Add sweetened Azuki beans, some fruits and/or ice cream.
Serve immediately.
